    From 1995 to 1997, he was a Research Fellow with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Tokyo, Japan. From 1997 to 2003, he was a Research Associate at the Center for Northeast Asian Studies, Tohoku University. In 2003, he joined Osaka Electro-Communication University (OECU), Neyagawa, Japan.
